Through small incisions of approximately 4 mm, a blunt metal cannula with multiple openings is inserted into the tissue. Thanks to anesthesia, the procedure is completely painless. The cannula gently vibrates to extract fat cells from the tissue. On request, the Smartlipo laser or radiofrequency technology can be used to selectively “melt” additional fat and stimulate collagen production, providing a skin-tightening effect and optimal final results.
