What is FORMA V™?

Radiofrequency technology for safe and effective vaginal rejuvenation

Forma V is an innovative, non-invasive technology for vaginal rejuvenation. This treatment uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production, resulting in significant tissue tightening. In addition, it can improve blood circulation in the vaginal tissue, which may help alleviate vaginal dryness. Forma V is a safe and painless option designed to restore vaginal health and enhance a woman’s confidence.

How does a FORMA V™-treatment work?

Quick, simple, and completely non-surgical

The Forma V-treatment is straightforward and non-surgical. During the session, a specially designed applicator is inserted into the vaginal canal, delivering controlled radiofrequency energy to gently warm the tissue. The treatment usually lasts around 30 minutes and is performed in a comfortable, private setting at our clinic. Patients can typically resume their normal activities immediately after the session.

What you need to bear in mind after treatment

Aftercare FORMA V™-treatment

After treatment with Forma V, downtime is minimal. Most patients report a warm sensation in the treated area, but this subsides within a few hours. It is recommended to avoid hot baths, saunas and intense exercise for the first 24 to 48 hours after treatment. Sexual activity should also be avoided for about a week to allow the treated tissue to heal optimally. Our specialists are available to provide you with further individual recommendations.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about FORMA V™-treatment

Forma V is a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment for the intimate area that specifically heats the tissue. This stimulates collagen production, which can lead to skin tightening and an improvement in tissue structure.

Forma V is particularly suitable for women who suffer from vaginal dryness, reduced elasticity, changes in sensation during sexual intercourse or mild stress incontinence, often following pregnancy or during the menopause, for example.

The first improvements can often be noticed after around 3–4 weeks. The full effect, particularly skin tightening and improved tissue structure, usually becomes apparent after 2–3 months, as the body needs time to produce collagen.

To achieve the best possible results, we generally recommend that our patients undergo 2 to 3 sessions, each one month apart. This depends on the individual needs of the patient.

The results can last for up to a year or longer, although we recommend an annual follow-up treatment to maintain the effect.

The cost of Forma V treatment varies depending on the clinic and the scope of treatment. It usually ranges from several hundred euros per session, depending on whether individual treatments or package deals are offered.

Yes. Forma V uses radiofrequency technology, whereas laser treatments use focused light. Both methods aim to tighten and regenerate tissue, but differ in their mechanism of action, heat distribution and depth of penetration.

Forma V is often used as an adjunctive treatment for mild stress incontinence. By heating the tissue, collagen formation can be stimulated and tissue tone in the vaginal area improved, which leads to a reduction in mild symptoms in some patients.

The treatment is generally described as painless and well tolerated. Most patients simply feel a pleasant sensation of warmth during the procedure. Anaesthesia is not required.

Side effects are rare and usually mild. In isolated cases, there may be slight redness, a sensation of warmth or minimal swelling, but these symptoms usually subside within a few hours. The treatment is considered very gentle and low-risk.
