What is Endolift®?

With Endolift®, we can treat the following areas of the face particularly effectively: the neck, chin, and jawline, cheeks and midface, bags under the eyes, and excess skin on the upper eyelids or eyebrows. We can also use it on all areas of the body for moderate skin tightening and fat tissue reduction. In particular, we also use it to reduce sweat glands in the armpits in cases of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), to treat reddened scars, or to remove filler granulomas. Endolift® is combined with Morpheus8 in particular, further optimizing the treatment for facial tightening and rejuvenation.

How does treatment with Endolift® work?

Activation of collagen regeneration and reduction of fat cells

With Endolift®, a special micro-optical fibre thinner than a hair is gently inserted under the skin. The light fibre transmits the laser energy directly into the tissue, causing the connective tissue to shrink, activating collagen regeneration and reducing fat cells. The procedure takes approximately 30–45 minutes, depending on the area being treated, and is performed under local anaesthetic.

Aftercare following an Endolift® treatment

There is minimal to no downtime after treatment. In rare cases, there may be slight swelling for 6 to 48 hours after treatment – during this time, you should rest physically. Minimal swelling and yellowing of the skin may still be present for a few days to a few weeks. An initial tightening effect can be seen immediately after treatment. However, the actual effect is based on the restructuring processes in the skin and can be seen after approximately 3 months at the earliest, after which it is permanent. However, skin ageing continues as normal, so depending on the patient's metabolism and skin care routine, repeat treatment may be necessary after a few years.

Endolift® is often suitable for individuals seeking a non-surgical alternative for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction. Those with severe skin laxity may be less suitable.

Endolift® is a minimally invasive procedure in which a special micro-optical fiber, thinner than a human hair, is gently inserted beneath the skin. The fiber emits laser energy to stimulate collagen production and promote skin tightening. Local anesthesia is usually sufficient, and most patients find the treatment relatively painless.

The results of Endolift® are generally subtle and natural. The skin may appear firmer and more youthful, wrinkles can be reduced, and skin texture may improve. The primary effects, however, result from remodeling processes in the skin and are typically visible no earlier than about three months after treatment, after which they are long-lasting. Since natural skin aging continues, a repeat treatment may be needed after a few years, depending on the patient’s metabolism and skincare routine.
