The LADD treatment is an innovative procedure in aesthetic medicine, in which the skin is gently ablated using an Erbium:YAG laser. By temporarily opening the skin barrier, highly effective active ingredients such as retinol can penetrate deeper layers of the skin. This allows for effective treatment of wrinkles, pigmentation spots, acne scars, enlarged pores, and impure skin.

During the procedure, the surface of the skin is contactlessly ablated with the Erbium:YAG laser. This process opens the skin barrier, allowing subsequent application of active ingredients to work more effectively. The combination of laser and active ingredients stimulates skin regeneration, tightens the tissue, and visibly refines the skin’s texture.

A single LADD treatment already shows initial visible improvements. For sustainable and long-lasting results, we generally recommend a series of three treatments at intervals of 6 to 8 weeks. This allows continuous skin renewal and long-term improvement of the skin appearance.

The procedure lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the treatment area. A numbing cream is applied beforehand to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Upon request, nitrous oxide can also be used for relaxation. Most patients experience the treatment as well tolerated and minimally painful.

After the laser treatment, it is important to treat the skin gently. Mechanical irritation, such as picking at any scabs, should be avoided. The skin may remain red for up to two weeks. Moisturizing morning and evening supports regeneration. Consistent sun protection with at least SPF 50 is essential for at least four months to prevent pigmentation changes.
